Security Without the Price Tag

Chain-link does one job extremely well: it encloses a space securely for the least money per foot. For fenced yards, dog runs, ball diamonds, storage lots, and commercial perimeters around Toledo it is still the practical answer.

Black vinyl-coated fabric has changed how residential customers see it. Coated mesh and black posts visually disappear against a tree line, so you get the security and price of chain-link without the industrial look of bare galvanized.

How We Build It

Terminal, corner, and gate posts are set in concrete and sized heavier than line posts, because that is where all the tension load lives. Top rail is run continuous, fabric is stretched tight with a come-along rather than pulled by hand, and tension bars are banded at every terminal.

We add what the site needs: bottom tension wire to stop a dog from pushing under, privacy slats where you want screening, and drive gates with drop rods for vehicle access.

Repairs & Re-Stretching

Loose, bellied chain-link usually does not need replacing. We re-stretch fabric, straighten or reset bent posts, replace damaged sections, and re-hang gates that have dropped out of square.

Chain-Link Fence Questions, Answered

How much does chain-link cost compared to wood?

Chain-link is typically the least expensive option per foot. Actual cost depends on height, gauge, coating, gates, and site conditions, and your written estimate itemizes each of those.

Will chain-link keep my dog in?

Yes, and we recommend bottom tension wire for diggers and pushers. Height should match the dog — we will talk that through on site.

Can chain-link be used for a pool?

It can, but pool enclosures have code requirements for height, mesh, and self-closing, self-latching gates. We build to those requirements.
