Set It and Forget It
Vinyl is the fence for homeowners who never want another maintenance weekend. It does not rot, it does not take stain, and a hose knocks the winter grime off it. In the newer subdivisions around Holland, Perrysburg, and Sylvania it is often what the neighborhood standard calls for.
Quality varies a lot in vinyl. We install heavier-wall panels with routed rails and internal reinforcement in gate rails, because thin big-box vinyl is what cracks in a Toledo cold snap. Posts are set in concrete the same way we set a wood fence.
Profiles & Colors
Full privacy — 6-foot tongue-and-groove panels, optionally with a lattice or spaced picket accent along the top.
Semi-privacy — spaced boards that keep airflow and light while still screening the yard.
Picket and ranch rail — front-yard definition, garden enclosures, and property-line marking without blocking the view.
Colors are typically white, tan/almond, and gray stone tones, with matching post caps and gate hardware.
Vinyl vs. Wood
Vinyl costs more up front and less over time. If you plan to be in the house ten years or more and you hate maintenance, vinyl usually wins. If you want the lowest install cost, or you want the natural look of stained cedar, wood is the better value. We quote both honestly and let the numbers decide.
Other Fence Types We Install
Vinyl Fence Questions, Answered
Does vinyl fence crack in Ohio winters?
Quality vinyl with proper wall thickness and reinforcement handles our winters fine. Thin, low-grade panels are what fail, which is why we do not install them.
Can vinyl fence follow a sloped yard?
Vinyl is normally stepped in level sections rather than racked. We lay out the steps with you on site so the transitions look intentional.
How do I clean a vinyl fence?
A garden hose, or soap and a soft brush for stubborn spots. No sealing, staining, or painting is required.
